
Retusa Women Farmer Producer Company Limited (Retusa WFPCL) successfully held its 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Namsai, marking yet another milestone in its journey of empowering women farmers and strengthening community-led agriculture.
The meeting was graced by the presence of officials from ArSRLM SMMU, Itanagar, representatives from BMMUs across different blocks, the Agriculture Development Officer, the Technical Support Agency FVDRC, as well as the Board of Directors and members of Retusa WFPCL. The event was further honored by the presence of the Chief Guest from NABARD.
Addressing the gathering, the undersigned highlighted the aims and objectives of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), emphasizing their role in ensuring fair market access, strengthening collective ownership, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women farmers. The deliberation also focused on the potential areas of collaboration with stakeholders across both farm and off-farm sectors, ensuring holistic growth and inclusive development.
The AGM concluded with renewed commitment and optimism, as members and stakeholders reaffirmed their support towards building a resilient, transparent, and women-led farming ecosystem in Arunachal Pradesh.
